Meet Andrew Rydlund, Founder of Cornerstone Advancement Partners
Andrew Rydlund founded Cornerstone Advancement Partners to help nonprofits and donors give more generously through asset-based philanthropy. He brings a rare combination to the work: seven years with Saint Paul's Outreach, a national nonprofit, including two years as its Vice President of Advancement & Legal. Andrew earned his law degree, graduating top of his class, and practiced at Jones Day, with a focus on Tax, Real Estate, and Nonprofit Law. Additionally, he has hands-on experience as a real estate investor, nonprofit board member, and business owner. This mix of Fundraiser, Lawyer, Leader, and Owner-Operator allows him to see the whole philanthropic picture. But for Andrew, this work goes beyond credentials into conviction. As devout Catholics, he and his wife are raising their four children with the belief that generosity is among the most human and holy things a person can embrace.
